M audio key station 49 II and Nektar Impact GX49

  • I would need to know more about what your use will be. Seems like the Nektar has assignable buttons and low power mode for use with iOS devices.

    Neither have aftertouch and both seem pretty basic.

    The Keystation says semi-weighted but they look like synth action to me. If the feel of the keys is something you are concerned with, then maybe try and find one at a local music shop to test out.

    I have a M-Audio Axiom 49 Gen 2 and its semi-weighted and feels nice to play over the more springy synth action, which the Nektar is.

    i own a Keystation 88es. They are actually semi weighted. the II's seem to be just a newer version. here's a review of the 88 key version but pretty sure it should apply to the 49.
