I use a launchpad pro with my iPad. It needs power either with a power adapter that it comes with or via the cck3 connected to an iPad charger or USB hub.
In the picture the iPad, the 2 kboards and the launchpad pro are all getting power from the battery bank connected to the cck3. An unpowered USB hub is used to connect all 3 devices to the iPad.

wow thats dope info. How are the pads on the launchpad pro? I dont like the pads on the launchkey keyboards

  • @Shazamm I agree with you about the pads on the lauchkey. I had the 25 version and sold it quickly. The pads did not feel good at all. I have heard that the pads on the launchpad pro feel real nice.

i love em. much better than the first gen launchpad. it doesn't have the squishy feeling that it had. the new pads are actually quite stiff. more like the drum pads on the remote series (except they light up). haven't really used any of the rest of the range. so not sure.

  • How is the comb connected? Wirelessly?

The comb is audio, dummy. All it needs is the iPad mic.

He'll thank me for the wake-up call. ;)
Hopefully it'll be an inspiration for his next in-depth video: WTF Does that Paper Do?

Perhaps you should reconsider that decision.
