Synth X gone??

Way out ware developed an amazing synth called synth x and an iPhone sampling app years ago..now they have both vanished

Shame as i wanted to reinstall the synth

Seems yet another dev gives up the game

Awhile ago it was soundtrends who did meta dj and looptastic which were very cool with tons of potential in this day and age

    Great synth, one of the legacy apps I keep alive on my Air 2. Not sure if it's even in Purchases on the AppStore anymore. Hasn't been onsale for 2 plus years

    I honestly don't understand why people don't backup the apps on their desktop at this point. this isn't the first time something has vanished. BACKUP EVERYTHING.

    I have backups of every app I paid for so no worries on my part. Diode,firo.... They're gonna be with me till they upgrade to 128bit.

    The SoundTrend stuff (MetaDJ, studioHD) is still running on iPad and iPhone, though an enraged female destroyed the laptop where the backups lived...will backup the whole lot (Electrify, Electrify NXT, etc) next time I've got the laptop storage to spare...

    I backup my ipas on dropbox. So unless Dropbox dies too I'm safe :D
