  • I wonder ... If we revisit the moon with a more sophisticated, modern rocket, would the landing of the first astronaut from that flight have the same worldwide impact as Neil Armstrong's landing?

  • No. Everybody would have been tuned into Dancing with The Stars instead. Or finding out about it on their FB feed.

  • I was enjoying reading that, but after about the 50th 'you know' my brain shut down.

  • heard some recently. Lucy in the Sky, without all the extra tracks is really cool.

Heh, I'll update the thread title so people know I'm linking to a podcast along with the transcription. The play button isn't very obvious, sorry didn't realize.

The thread from last week has some good stuff in it too. I've been reading stuff all week about it and after I bought the 2 CD version I've listened quite a few times. The second disc of unreleased alternate takes is cool (I've heard some from the 6CD collection as well), although a few repeats from Anthology 2 are a bit questionable. Do they think anyone who buys these ultra deluxe versions either won't notice or won't have the material elsewhere?
    Small quibble...
