Kymatica Oscillator alternatives?
This simple but useful app soon will disappear due to not being updated.
I use it for a variety of things, but mainly for making precise tone frequencies for my drone needs.
Are there any good alternatives?
Thanks!

He knocked it together in about two days, so I think it will be probably be updated soon. Been busy.
I hope so.
But what about other tone generator apps?
Maybe something with the possibility of frequency sweeps and obviously inter app audio capability.
Not sure there are any others with its level of simplicity. The reason he even whipped it up was someone on the forums here opining the lack of one, so that may be it. You can probably whip something up in TC-11 or something, though.
Yeah,
I got TC-11 and iVCS3 too and they're absolutely great, but in this case I was looking for something more minimal:
2 or more frequency/tone generators (precise Hz selection) with various waveforms, panning and sweeps.
Something barebones, useful for binaural beats or isochronic tones (not that I believe in the theories behind them...)
That is very interesting. I agree the ivcs osc au would be the answer here. Using it as a modulator in au is something I hadnt considered. Could you do a screen grab and post next time your in your ivcs3 lab pls? A vid from someone on this would be popular I recon. Nice inspiring post.
MultiTone Generator app is what you are looking for.
I believe it is just a couple of bucks.
@Max23 thanks very much. It looks like it will sound amazing.
Yeah @Max23 , thank you for your nice tips
I will try to update The Oscillator app for 64 bits.
sick, don't let the free osc die! The dopest app maker, what a guy! U ever try one of the sruti box apps for simple drone? Even the indian tanbura apps are cool simple drones. Samvada might have some overtone drones or something weird but amazing with its drone. cheers
Unfortunately Samvada is still currently 32 bit too.
This one is interesting, thanks.
If just looking to replace Kymatica Oscillator a single instance of iVCS3 AU VCO in AUM will do the trick. You can even pan Oscillator 1 & 2 hard left & right.
Would be nice!
would be really great to have an auv3 for this oscillator ! just discovered it, love it

It’s more expensive but it’s au3 and does a lot more. It includes noise and impulses and you can manipulate oscillators in interesting ways.
@cian many thanks !
auGEN X by auDSPr
Here’s a basic one that’s pretty cheap https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tone-generator/id1205284497
AuGen x vote one up. I wanted it for like basic drones and it blew that out of the water in amazingness and like no cpu power use so I as an old iPad dude can run multiple instances of that but for example one of Ivsc3. Now I would say I usually like droneo even for Osc but that's me.
