Aum audio file playback issue

Why is the bpm change function disabled??

If you toggle the sync button you can change the bpm
its disabled since sync is off. with sync off it only plays the file in its original bpm. mind you AUM has 0 timestretch. so if you change its bpm it WILL pitch shift. the main reason i use blocs is to timestretch the audio before importing into AUM.
thanks - I'd just answered the how and not the why .. and that's a great tip about using blocswave for that reason ..
