It's definitely worth the time to get acquainted- an interesting way to improvise, and develop ideas

  • I think it's great

At its most basic it allows you to select a scale and then play chords from the scale with one finger.

Then you can add various voicings to the chord
You can do automatic voice leading so it automatically picks inversions of the chords so that you get smooth or jumpy transitions from one chord to the next
You can arpegiate the chords at various speeds

You can record your chord progression and then play it back in a different scale and or mode

You can build up a sequence of chord progressions and then play them back at the press of a button.

It has a built in piano sf2 but allegedly you can import your own soundfont. (Never tried that though)

It also has midi in and out.

And export midi file over email.

  • Shame it still crashes at a whim. Just happened again after a few minutes use. The guy needs to fix that it's only been three years!

  • Odd it hardly ever crashes in my experience.
