@Sonicflux - I need to play with it more and haven't gottena chance to fully test it but its nice simple but flexible. Can edit/delete a note, it's velocity, and length all while placing it. 16 Midi channels or import via iTunes (needs ACP), you can adjust the ADSR of your samples internally inlcuding one shot, loop, and bounce. Almost infinite length of sequences (referred to as clips), then you have a clip sequencer to make your song. Keyboard and drum pads, midi works good and most issues have been resolved by MidiBridge but not normally needed, auto sets loop. I find it really easy to work with and way less clunky/confusing then Genome. It doesn't have automation but I normally use it to lay down quick midi sequences (pattern, note length, velocity) and then export them to somewhere else. All that said, it does need an update with a few things and I'd probably mark it more like $15. If I have the time soon I may do a video since there is hardly anything on it...
Note: this is in reference to Brainwave Sequencer
ehm...excuse me:how can i delete ALL modules in a patch and start from scratch? Is there a hidden "init"function?
Open preset menu hit + select new
It does rotate orientation, but does not change its own dimensions. I wish it would become wider in landscape mode - half the screen is unused.
Reverse pinch (hopefully that makes sense) and it will zoom in. It still wastes about 10-15% of the screen, but it helps a lot.
Double tap on a faceplate also zooms.
I just want the rack to be wider with more module spaces per shelf.
Although, thinking abut it, not sure how the code would guess I would want the layout to morph between portrait and landscape orientations. Hmmmm. Maybe just a config param - "Shelf Width", with H and P settings, and however you move the modules around after its initial layout guess just sticks.
@JMSexton:i did that of course but it just copy and saved the current sound.Tried it a second time now and it works..Thanks!
For those of you experiencing midi issues, make sure the app is updated. There were some pre-launch issues that were addressed with the 1.01 update. I'll forward this thread to the developer so they can investigate any lingering issues.
I'll run through the list of FX slot apps mentioned as being problematic and see if I get the same results.
@DaveMagoo Audiobus FX slot support is planned for a future version.

On a side note, if you'd like to hear some examples of Modular in use, I recorded this set using Caelestis, Synthmate (as a controller), and Modular running through AudioReverb into Master Record via Audiobus:
Update from the developer regarding the Audiobus issues:
"We do know about the audiobus bug. We are working on it with the help of the Audiobus team.
What we have found with our testing is that Modular seems to work with Audiobus as long as it has been launched outside of Audiobus. From there, adding effects or outputs work. There seems to be a disconnect with Audiobus if Modular is launched via the input slot button inside of Audiobus. Still, we haven't nailed down all of the variables of the bug, but it is of high priority for us to fix."
Who is still using it? Today it was updated and remind me that big moog thingy at namm :-)
I've started playing with it again. I just finished a tutorial on U-he's desktop soft synth Bazille which led me to drooling over some Eurorack stuff. But I feel like I need to get acquainted with my modular soft synths.
Can anyone compare this to Audulus? It seems a little more user friendly, but Audulus seems more versatile.
I'm a big Audulus fan, though I have both. The main differences are:
I'm a fanboy, so you should interpret all the above accordingly, but I spend a lot of time in Audulus and it doesn't get old.
What about Zmors Modular? I haven’t had any time to explore it at all yet, but the brief few seconds I took looking at it, I thought it can’t possibly ever work — the envelope generators have no gate inputs, for a start, so can never be triggered.
I thought about picking it up, but I'm neck-deep in Audulus, so I haven't. Tim Webb did a short and sweet tutorial on it, though: http://discchord.com/blog/2015/1/12/zmors-modular-update.html
Modular is one of my favorite apps- the best modular synth on iPad- I found Audulus to be one of the worst interfaces I've ever worked with- no musical workflow whatsoever- overly complex for such basic synth functions- Modular's main strengths are it's Serge
-like VCOs and the CV modululation on the delay/chorus/flanger- and the SOUND- when I want abstract I prefer Apesoft's approach - for analog modular I want hardware emulation and workflow-
zMors is the first modular that I actually used to create a patch, which launched me into Audulus as well. Modular sounds great but the overly skeumorphic (sp) gui threw me- kept undoing connections accidentally. The nodes in zmors are slick in that they change ins and out like gate depending on what u are connecting...
