Best apps to form an iOS rock/acoustic band?
Hey!
I want to make a video using KRFT sending MIDI to a bunch of apps that sound like "real" instruments. I think it would be interesting to see how KRFTs workflow fits more acoustic sounding instruments.
I have geoShred which will work great for some nice chords and perhaps a lead, see vid:
But I need a good sounding bass & acoustic drum kit (I'm open to other guitars too!).
Any suggestions?!

Thank you!

Cubasis and ThumbJam
Gladstone and Madrid in gadget
iFretless (bass in particular)

Ifretless Bass, Drum Session Drums as a Sound Module, or even the mini sampler drum kits inside Cubasis, they sound huge!
I'm thinking of getting the iFretless Brass for Trumpet sounds, and also you can try the built in sounds in Cubasis. I'm planning to do just that with KRFT. Use Cubasis as my single hub for sounds and since it can host AUv3, you can also use Sensual Sax for Saxophone leads.
I love you guitar chords you're playing in KRFT to GeoShred!
Was that the Warm Acoustic Preset?
BS-16i with a lineup of the appropriate high quality soundfonts. For guitar I recommend the FS Fender Jaguar soundfont, which has velocity layers and a palm mute option. Ixox Flute is an excellent velocity layered Flute soundfont. Throw Fazioli Piano into the lineup. I don't have a favorite electric bass sf but there are surely good ones.
I'm very interested in using KRFT in this way because I'm just not into EDM. I do have a question though, is everything in 4/4 or is there true support for odd time signatures? I was able to create a pattern with 5 notes in it but it still seemed to change cycle based on 4/4 so it doesn't seem possible to have 5 or 7 beats in each measure. I would love this so if at all possible please add this to your feature request list.
If it's possible now please point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Korg iM1 has some nice rock instruments
@yowza - there's no reason we couldn't add support for your request. Will add to the roadmap ^_^
Yo alex.
I've tried KRFT with Jam Maestro and it works seamlessly. JM supports up to 16 instruments with independent midi channels too (guitar/bass/drums), and you can also create your own drum kits and set the midi in channels for each pad so you could get it working on the KRFT pads.
Happy to send you a promo code if you wanna have a play.
Yes, great idea to support other time signatures.
For acoustic drums, either DrumPerfect Pro or the drums included in Auria Pro's Lyra. For bass, Thumbjam or load a good bass EXS sample library in Lyra.
Oh sweet that would be great! DM me![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
