  • I love iPulsaret and iDensity. Although they kind of do similar things. I don't regret buying either lol

  • I have to say - it's really cool to see Jordan Rudess playing a couple of my patches in that video.

  • This video, as well as @RedSkyLullaby 's makes me feel like the complete musical dolt that I truly am. I've been playing with this synth for weeks... looking for rare bugs, and had no idea of what it was really capable of.

I don't know about you guys
But I love ipulsaret to death
Makes very nice granular spacey pad sounds
Forget the glitch junk, do pads with it ;)

Yep, I do too. Always wondered why it was rarely mentioned on this board. Just like Mood, I think iPulsaret is the kitten's meow fo' shizzle :)

    +1

Mmhhh, i bought Mood but it's a bit too much hype. It's really a great tool and Apesoft offers some fantastic workflow tricks. I like the GUI.
.....but the engine quality will not be my fav.

well observed, Personally I would have appreciated an Uber-VCS with Sparkle and Apefilter included in the routing matrix. But that would have made it too 'complicated' for a broader market.
Fortunately the drive section adds some beef to a way too clean filter section and workflow is smart indeed.

I make a chili that does the same

  • I really like Jordan and I am a big fan of DT. However, for the sake of music on iPad, it would be great to see new known artists demoing apps. We are too much in a guarded hunt (in my opinion)

Jordan did a real good job (as did the preset makers) and admittedly fooled me into that nasty comment about a cheap analog synth (Deep Mind 12).
In fact the Mood is a hell to tweak if you want what's considered analog 'warmth' ;)
Not it's domain at all, but a nice creative tool - which benefits a lot from Apesoft/Amazing Noises consistent interface and midi/control implementation.

I imagine there are many guitar players like me who have learned keys over the years who look at a synth like Mood and think: deeper than I'll ever need, sounds great, fantastic presets, easy to tweak, responsive dev,... and it's an AU so it acts a lot like the VST's in our desktop daws: terrific! I really couldn't be much happier about a $12 investment. :)
