RME Babyface/ Totalmix & Audiobus 3, Tap to fix, longer app loading times - not working setup..
Hi,
is anybody using Audiobus 3 with the RME Babyface and has found a way to avoid the regular "Tap to fix" issue (Loopy HD, ToneStack, Drumperfect, ..) & longer app launching times (compared to the internal iPad audio I/O)?
In addition,
I think Totalmix (RME's native Babyface control App) is part of the Problem, but in order work with the HW Setup, I need to have:
Totalmix, AB3, Tonestack, Loopy HD, Drumperfect, Echo Pad working together and running at the same time.
My HW Setup (6CH In, 2 CH out):
Ipad Air 2, RME Babyface Pro, Mindprint DI-Port via SPDIF
Thank you for your help!
Maybe you have useful hints how to set up the connect/ switch-On sequence of the parts of the HW/ APP setup.
Any Ideas?

I also signed up to the AB3 testflight, but haven't received an invitation to fly the test:-(
I've seen several Forum entries discussing HW incompatibility issues with Audio Interfaces..
Comments
had both, AB 2 and 3 installed.
1.) Deinstalled both
2.) Full iPad Restart
3.) Installed AB 3
4.) launched AB3, wait 4 Seconds
5.) connected Babyface Pro
6.) launched the above named apps
7.) started Totalmix FX
All is running smooth now..
some Minutes later: DrumPerfect is in "Tap to fix" Mode:-(
Hi,
I moved to Audiobus 2 on my new iPad Pro 10.5 for now.
It's weird and strange:
AB2 seems so much more stable running Totalmix, Tonestack, Loopy HD, Drumperfect...
I'd love to hear from other users of the same setup, especially for acoustic guitar.

THX, I received the "Audiobus Remote" testflight, but I also signed up for the AB3 testflight and haven't received an invitation to fly the test yet:-(
The TestFlight build fixed a lot of issues for the ica4+ and other sound cards so should fix your problems too. Just pm @sebastian and the other mods to send you TestFlight invite.

All issues are gone, no tap to fix in my setup* anymore!!
