Thanks!
You're welcome!
Amazing complexity from the Audulus community, wow.
@ccs2 yeah make sure you check out the new patches by RobertSyrett, Macro Machines, and Sansnom especially
This is a fantastic set of patch. What would be amazing is a list with the description of each patch so that I can for example search for all the patches that have midi in. Is there something like this ?
@cuscolima Ostensibly people can tag their patches, and you can search by tags, but not really at the moment. There's better search functions coming in the future, and I also plan on making a different version of the forum patch repository that's sorted by module/patch type rather than user. I can say that there aren't a whole lot of MIDI input patches, but you can create a MIDI input and sub out the sequencers and other things you see there. Just let me know if you need any help making anything
Ok
To integrate effects (in which I'm interested) in audiobus (fx), with a patch loaded, tap and create 'mic' and 'speaker' modules and connect.
Cheers
@ccs2 - yep! Also, full Audiobus 3 compatibility is something Taylor's working on, and he's also work on the AU3 version so you can load multiple instances easily.
I forgot a couple patches and users reminded me, so I uploaded them - the latest version is version c, which adds several analog modelling filters and an octomix VCA thingey.
@ccs2 @cuscolima - added 7 more patches that had gotten away from me
Curios about Audulus
@Mayo absolutely! Check out this patch - it's an octature LFO with adjustable phase differential. You can use these LFOs to modify the volume going to each speaker and get a revolving sound.
Contact me [email protected] and I'll set you up with the beta of that patch.
Thanks mate. I love Audulus, even though I'm not building sophisticated stuff yet.
Wow Mark -
that is awesome news!
I have found no IOS app that will play nice with surround.
Off to get the app, will drop you an email.
Cheers!
You're welcome! And it's not about simple vs. complex it's all about how much fun you have
Yeah, I'm interested in doing some binaural stuff too - dunno if we can build that in Audulus or have to use one of the other iOS apps that does binaural simulation. Anyway, psyched to see what you come up with, I don't have a surround system myself.
@Audulus_Mark : Is there still a download to be found somewhere? Some time ago I downloaded a huge repository that had a lot of duplicates. It sounds like this 300+ download might have been curated and less unwieldy than than the 1000+ bundle that I found.
Is there a timeline when Audulus will get midi out and a proper sampler (or array for storage)? It was announced like ages ago and feel I will not start actually using it without having these.
i wonder if they will ever come.
It's here: https://forum.audulus.com/t/old-audulus-forum-patch-collection/105
These will come out with Audulus 4.0 - the last big update that 3 is getting in terms of functionality will be AUv3 instrument and effect
Thanks @Audulus_Mark! I am trying to get deeper into this great system than I have before. These patches are a great resource.
Awesome! I'm currently doing a rewrite of the library to make the modules better-labeled. I thought icons were the way to go but after extensive feedback, I know I was wrong. You can follow the thread here and see what the modules in the library will start to look like:

I'm signed in but still the link does not work.
A search for "forum patch repository" gave zero results.
Where can we find the old patch repo now?
Whoops sorry I must've pasted the wrong link in:
https://forum.audulus.com/t/old-audulus-forum-patch-collection/105
Oh nevermind @rs2000 I see what's up - that's the link to the old forum. This new link I shared above is the new module library collection with over 1800 patches. We switched forum hosting from Vanilla to Discourse so we had to migrate everything over there.
Great, thank you!
This comes just at the right time during synth tweaker's holidays
PS: Any news on the eagerly awaited AUv3 update of Audulus 3?
All the best & have a great start in 2019.
Oh I am still on the fence on this. Its looking way out of my league, but I love those modular stuff I see on YouTube. But this life will not be enough to get into this crazy machine. AUv3 on the horizon.... bing bong back and forth... how long will the sale last
(Can you make stuff like you see on the Euro Rack ambient jams on utube?)
It's definitely not out of your league - it's a great way to learn synthesis and a great way to get better at it and get more out of the synths you already have. The sale's going through the 1st of January I believe, so you'll have to get it while the getting's good. And you can absolutely make Eurorack-like Ambient jams!
Great!
AUv3 on the horizon is great.
I've seen a trick using the delay gen for general (temp) storage. Somebody apparently did an audio looper, though I have not checked it. Same trick which was used on the Nord Modular G2.
Maybe delay time could be made longer? As a custom option even?
Could work with this for now, then.
Desktop version has a sampler, right?
