Thx, I thought for sure I put that in!

  • Thanks for the heads up!

  • I have his other apps. Playing with Music-Doughnuts to get weird and fun noises. Good stuff.

  • Self-a-Fuzz is really impressive.

As that great philosopher Keanu once said, "Woah!".

  • Despite being portrait only Deregulator is really wacky and neat.

Picked it up because I like the cut of this devs jib.

  • Thanks, guys!

Deregulator will become horizontal on iPad soon.

    Good to hear!

I really like Self-a-Fuzz, but I'm really digging how quick you can get to interesting stuff with ZhSh. And, because it's similar to Self-a-Fuzz, this new ZhSh little brother... is helping me better understand Self-a-Fuzz too.

    Thanks! @ashshaoshDaa

I've not sprung for the full Self-a-Fuzz experience yet, but I like the way ZhSh can take you in unexpected directions. Once you grab the basics I can see how it would scale up into a more fully featured app.

I love these niche apps doing unique stuff.

I had silly fun running Deregulator on some random mic input on the commute home the other day. It's always a good sign for an app if you're a danger of missing your train stop. :)

Deregulator was one of the first audio fx apps I bought. I've always loved that one and was thrilled when it got updated.

ZhSh is more immediate fun. I'm surprised it's free at the moment. Self-a-Fuzz (at least for me) requires more experimentation, tweaking, etc. You can accidentally stumble on some incredible sounds, or with one misstep it can quickly devolve into the pits of audio hell-fire (though, I'm certain this was the devs intention) ;)

I suspect we are on the same page (or at least the same chapter), I've just grabbed Self-a-Fuzz on good faith. I like the "Happy Accident/Armageddon" nature of some apps.

I enjoy the predictable nature of the likes of Gadget and such to lay down some grooves but I need some degree of unexpected sonic chaos in my life.

Yes, one of the main purpose of ZhSh is make easy enter to Self-a-Fuzz.
Glad you find it useful

To reiterate from my previous post... I'd spend a fair amount of time with ZhSh first. It's easy to quickly get lost in Self-a-Fuzz. After you've fully explored ZhSh, Self-a-Fuzz should be easier to get your head around.
