Mark Carlotto: ios Mad Music Scientist?

Has anyone bought and looked at the list of apps from this developer?

Pretty wicked and super interesting. His depth as a thinker is a cool facet of the apps.

I have a few of them but it seems like he is finally moving out into a more prominent and visible place for his apps.

What apps of his do you use and or like?

    I'm using MIDIplay
    https://appsto.re/ch/KNZ9jb.i

This is a very nice AB3 compatible (midi input) little app. I think it will be very usefull to have a first approach on which synths to use for your song

Yeah he has all these weird little niche apps that seem to always have some odd reason I needed them and never thought about an app for that purpose.

I think his Orbulator synth is far out and a lot of fun for dark, ambient, and cinematic electronic pieces.

Yes Orbulator is One of Best app but i like The uber and xmod Synth too. I would like to Try miditts and autosampler. This dev is a "touche à tout " meaning he looks very polyvalent .Mad music scientist lol good one :)

  • I really like Orbulator a great deal.
It is capable of some nice pads.

Shocked that this gets more praise, conceptually it is a synth fan playground of sonic fun

  • Had Uber synth and Xmod all this time and never really looked at the documentation, now that I'm finally looking, they're very mad scientisty in a great way.

  • I've had his Audio to MIDI app for a while, didn't know he was so prolific! All of the pitch detection apps look cool....anyone know if he makes an "all-in-one" version of them? (as in: one app that does pitch, key, and chord detection. I'm sure they all use similar code under the hood.)

  • Orbulator is amazing!

but no saving of settings is SO dumb....

  • @eddielovesyou. Interested in the chord/key detection apps. What are the names of said apps?

    Pitch to Note
    KeyOmeter
    Pitch to Note + Chord
    What Chord

    Right

All his shit is off axis of ordinary and I dig that.

  • @eddielovesyou his MUSYS does pitch, key and chords
