  • The new sounds are great! It's strange but I'm finding that audio in the background with Ableton link on becomes out of sync with the rest of my ableton link enabled apps when I start to open more apps after this one is already playing. (On iPhone 6+)

  • There's no info on the cost of sound packs. Anyone know how much the IAPs are?

    +1

Also, there are no audio previews. Am I supposed to buy a cat in a sack? :)

0,99 per pack (12 kits each pack or 3 instruments)
and 3,99 for all five of them

  • DM1 doesn't get a lot of hype but remains such a solid workhorse and one of my most used drum apps. The new packs are fantastic and give the app a huge refresh. $4 for all the new stuff is pure Instabuy - Thank You good Fingerlab people.

  • It has the odd issue occasionally, but it's a good app and impressively supported, considering its age.

Will buy the IAPs in support of theirs.

Still love the song mode and often wish it or similar was implemented elsewhere.....(looks with lonesome eyes at Groovebox @AmpifyxNovation )....

    Big +1 on that.

  • Yep, its song mode is great but I also like the step sequencer a lot, it's very easy to program new drum beats and it's so nice to have 32 steps on one screen.

Gonna buy the new kits today

  • There's a $3.99 bundle for everything new to DM1, picked it up and it's really cool. Support apps that we don't wanna see go down the 32 bit/developer abandonment hole...DM1 is obviously making the move to stay relevant, I support that.

  • maybe they are suggesting to increase the price to 11,99 some time in the future

  • $2 right now!

Finally picked this one up in the sale. :)

The Randomiser appears to be broken unless I'm doing it wrong....?
edit: ok it's working but not for all parameters I think, maybe....
Also anyone know if you can control any of it with midi ccs? The midi learn function is pretty limited currently.

Yep, seems to work only for the parameters(pitch, pan, etc), does not randomise the patterns at all. Maybe it's how it's supposed to work, I don't know

Hmm yes and I wish there was a way to control the pitch and length by midi cc, but unless they are a fixed midi cc it looks like not.

No, as far as I know you can only assign midi notes to the pads and there are no fixed midi cc's (haven't found anything like that in the manual)

it used to mutate the patterns as well, it definitely seems broken in this version

  • Weird, the randomise of sounds only works when you use the internal sequencer, the midi triggered samples are the default sounds and are unchanged, another shame. I hope updates are still coming for this.

The Randomizer controls the same parameters that are automatable: Pitch, Length, etc. and the user can select exactly which. B)
