Recommend me a video editor for the iPad like Vegas?
Basically what I'm looking for is a slightly advanced video editor that can sequence videos and audio and allows me to adjust their timing perfectly and works with image layers (transparent PNG files).
iMovie is sorta okay, but two caveats. It doesn't allow for image file manipulation in layers, and worse....I can't time videos the way I'm used to in Vegas. It won't even allow me to time an audio track properly. No good, really.
The thing I'm looking to do is combine video with overlayed artwork and such to create music promotions and such (original tracks, piano performance compilations, you get the idea). Can anybody point me to a decent video-editing app that can do what I need it to do? Price is no object (okay, under $50 would be ideal

Yep, I use Sony Vegas on my PC, and LumaFusion is a very good match.
