Synthmaster: Issues?
Had some odd behavior and things after last update.
Especially in AB2.
So, attempted to reinstall. And now I can't get it to reinstall and if I do, I cannot get use of the restored preset (IAP). I have all of them and can only get a few.
So odd.
Anyone else? How did you fix it or work around?

About the IAP I think you need to go in the menu and put some registration info. Also I had earned some packs from some competitions , and had to put via iTunes a text file with my code.
It sucks , wish it would be simpler , pushing a button checking my Apple ID and restore like most apps do.
It doesn't work at all with AB2 for me too.
Time to send some emails ....
Some good news , they work on AU version
Odd...SynthMaster issues appear to be shape shifters. Installed the desktop update that came out a day or so ago and now it's completely dead. And it punches you in the goods when you try and close it by going ahead and crashing your Logic session for you. Solid update. Seems they've got some work to do over there if they want to call it a "master."
Always have to re register on every update
had problems with IAP presets and crashes which require a reinstall, from day one.
It's a buggy one for certain. And while it's great to have on iOS, the competition has left it behind long ago on desktop. A few special patches and maybe some old projects are the only reason is remains on the roster.
I had to reinstall SynthMaster and I registered again. It seems that I can't restore my in app purchases? Does anyone know how to fix this by chance?
If I remember, after you regesiter - you should be able to download or restore the Pro Upgrade, then restore the IAP's after.
I have bought pro upgrade and app was not upgraded. I can't restore IAP.

Crashes and then is open in background but wont let me open.

Sucks because I NEVER had an issue with Synthmaster. So this is a bummer.
I often test sound with SMAster then reproduce them with actual synth engine and presets but get inspiration from SMASTER.
Hope this is straightened out.

It is odd, it seem like yesterday all of sudden things declined either further into the essentially useless status.
Time to reinstall the megabyte megladon SAMPLETANK in the mean time and use those IAPs for the different EDM HOUSE ELECTRONICA POWER etc.
Jeez so bummed. I count on this app.
Well, I just tried the "updated" update in Live - still got an insta-crash with a "Looking for Skins" message. Plenty of posts about the bug on the FB page - some seem to now have success with the updated file, I haven't. Will be cool to have a resizable GUI - Finally! Apparently some good upgrades on the FX as well.
Little Tip: Preset Packs purchased on Desktop version can be transferred to iOS - but not the other way round.
Also - if you haven't tried out the Drag and Drop Mod Matrix (desktop) - it's my fav aspect (added in with 2.8 I think).

funny thing is I've had similar problems since version one and none of the updates fixed it. spoke to the dev and he pleaded ignorance.

I just created a demo using SynthMaster Player and Harmony Eight plus RoughRider2. I used Wizibel to create the video. I don't recall whether or not I had to restore the IAPs when I updated last but the ones that I purchased are there now.
Well I sent them an email and they replied that I was probably using a different Apple ID. Nope. Same one I've had, the only Apple ID I've ever had and then I sent a couple more detailed emails and I haven't heard back from them. This is hugely frustrating. We will see?
