iPad problem

I have a weird problem with iPad AIR 2 latest iOS all cables from Apple.
If I plug CCK cable in, (into sound card or Alesis Hub), the screen becomes less responsive and glitchy, if I type letters, they get stuck or suddenly 2-4 of same pop up and in music apps the keyboard is less responsive and I can be tapping a note...nothing.
The worst is with GeoShred...note skip or don't play, that's where I discovered this problem....
I have also audio dropouts...meaning audio will stop playing in sound card and plays in iPad.
iPad is a year + old....
What do you people think? Is that a defective input? Should Apple repair that under warranty?
It DOES NOT do that in my AIR 1 with same setup....
