  • Also, I wonder how the expansions are going to work? Will you buy them in the noise app? Will you buy them in the Seaboard app? Will there be a new app?

This is a demo of the desktop synth that comes with the rise. Not a mobile app at all.

I totally understood that. I was raising the question of what does the software side look like if you are only on iOS?

Is it like SynthMaster, where you have a "player" app, with limited control?

What is the app? Where do presets live when you use iOS as a sound generators?

Of course, I am looking forward to using it with other MPE apps

The iOS apps are basically player apps. You have a bunch of presets with more IAP presets. That's it. You can even use it without a roli. It's the noise and 5d app.the 5d app and all its iap was free a couple months ago so grabbed it then. It's actually pretty sweet. One thing is you cant really use it to it's full potential without pressure. Although iPhones with 3d touch can get almost the same experience albeit with latency. The equator synth on desktop has a ton of controls.

Here's a demo of the ios app:-

  • couldn't withstand for the funky clav and switched to Mr. Wonder live on Sesame Street... >:)

  • Has anyone picked up a Lightpad Block yet?

  • I have 5d but missed the freebies.

  • Does it sound a bit warbly at times? Like slightly detuned even when the player is not intending to be slightly off?
