It has core midi in, so you should be able sequence it.
Drumkick is my favourite set of acoustic drum samples for iOS (aside from specialist options) and it's MIDI intergration is very versatile. Fun to play with on the screen too...
Its weird(but good) that there is a separate universal and iphone versions, since i now have two of these apps on my phone
Damn, I can be dense at times. I have enjoyed playing this on the glass, but I never realized that it was also MIDIfriendly. Good times.

You mean you can't stick your iPad in your sock?![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
"Pair your iphone with ipad" doesent explain 2x app on iphone. The universal version could just as well be ipad only, and pairing iphone with ipad would still work as advertised.
Maybe the iphone version only has the ability to be a kick drum and the devs wanted the basic app to be universal, and those who want to use iphone as kick need to buy both?
yep, i saw the deal on http://appnaz.com this morn. What's a good news
Sounds fun. Thanks for the heads up.
I like how the description reads:
"FREE for a limited time! Please enjoy responsibly."
This might be what I'm looking for to pair with QuantiLoop since I don't have a foot pedal to trigger the loops... wish me luck, downloading now (I must have previously either bought it or gotten it for free on iTunes). Will report back!
edit: no luck so far, though did find that you can trigger the kick drum from the iphone, once connected to the iPad app, via a barefoot or in a sock. Pretty cool, now to figure out how to connect the iPad app via virtual midi to Quantiloop.
double edit: it didn't work with QuantiLoop because I can't figure out virtual midi, but it works a treat with Group The Loop! Psyched, I am happily triggering the start/stop of loops and record/overdub with my bare feet virtually now.
