  • Thanks for the heads-up; this is really cool!

  • Sorry for being, as ever, so slow, but what/how is this useful?

Ah, I should have mentioned that I have the hardware KARP, so useful/fun for me!

Well, if you like twiddling knobs :D

Actually I was super excited until I saw the presets are already in my app anyway.

It's like a picture book, Johnny. In the days before software and preset savings this is how one replicated a certain synth patch. You look at the pictures and then move each of the controls in the app to match and you'll end up with a new preset. In practice, however this may not be that easy since the app controls are small (especially on my iPad mini2). But I'm going to give it a try and see if I can get close to what's in the pictures.

  • @TozBourne @Trueyorky @excesseye Thanks all. I kinda thought as much, but wanted to check in case I was missing something (wouldn't be the first time :) )

  • I love this app and the arpeggiator but no Link!?

  • Very cool!

And those interested in learning about the workings of the Arp Odyssey should also check out G-Force Software's YouTube channel. He's got some excellent videos showing how the architecture works, and he offers some great tips and "secrets" for programming patches. All of which can more or less be directly applied to ODYSSEi.

  • Anyone know if this amazing synth is ever going AU?

Hold on, I’m certain it will come under 2024, together with iWavestation and iPolySix…

It's very likely as Korg has said the rest of the synths that are also Gadgets would come at some later date.

That is so awesome! Finally put the guitar down for a bit since my main board broke down :'( need to send for repairs. So pulled out midi controller and wow! This synth just sounds gorgeous! I even added some FAC Alteza reverb, the main default preset and wow! Every single preset I came up with just sounded luchious! Just warm and huge! Love this thing!

  • @Tones4Christ - there's no guarantee it'll arrive, and no indication of when. The assumption is based on only one small reference: https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/comment/1293178/#Comment_1293178

  • I got tired of waiting and bought a KARP. So glad I did!

  • Thank you!
