help: need basic clip launcher, mixer, fx sends, midi cc

hiya folks. i'm trying to build a relatively simple setup but it seems each app i look into only covers a part of what i need. perhaps y'all can help me figure this out? i'm looking for the clip launching function of launchpad with the mixing and fx sends of AUM, including the ability to map volume and fx send level to midi cc input.

simple, right?

Comments

  • LooptunesHD.

  • hey this looks pretty good. only thing missing is the ability to use inter-app-audio on the effects sends. i'd like to be able to use 3rd party fx. can't have it all i guess ;)

That's basically what I am looking/waiting for... KRFT seems to be on track...
    Edit... With AB3.

Sounds like you just need to wait for BM3

Just thought of BM3... But no-one wants to say anything about the 'Scene' feature....

  • Why not AUM?

  • LP5

    LP-5 is a 5-track loop launcher/sampler for iOS.

Designed for live arranging and remixing, LP-5 allows you to play audio loops from an intuitive launch grid, while automatic tempo synchronization keeps you in time with the beat.

Loop recording, real-time stretching, IAA effect hosting, and MIDI connectivity make LP-5 a powerful tool for your studio sessions, live performances, or DJ acts.

    • MIDI message routing to and from class-compliant USB hardware, other apps, and WLAN or Bluetooth LE wireless peripherals.
      This app has been Superpowered

  • LP-5 looks perf. thanks!

  • What are people using for clip launchers these days? I'd like something light weight to sequence short audio clips from a midi piano roll if possible. Been messing around with using Reslice for this, but it's quirky. Beathawk is interesting, but the sample import mechanism makes me tear my hair out. I'll try LP-5 based on this thread. Is BM3 worth picking up for this? Seems like overkill.

  • Argh, I guess somebody created a similar thread earlier today. Seems like BM3 might be the way to go.
