WHAT THE FUTURE SOUNDED LIKE

"Brilliant documentary about the birth of electronic music in Britain. The documentary enjoyed screenings at several film festivals around Australia and on ABC TV."

It's crazy to think how far we've come. They had to fill rooms with computers... we have iPads in our palms.

  • Nice interview with Dave Brock in there. I had a long natter with him a few years back about MS20 vs iMS20. He wasn't convinced, but the lucky bugger has a VCS3 as well as an MS20 so I'm not surprised.

  • And iPhones in our pockets...

  • Awesome!

A band I was associated with in the past, the mighty Tubilah Dog, supported Hawkwind on several occasions, and even more occasionally performed with members of both bands as The Hawk Dogs.

Ah cool, yeah I think I've seen them a few times at festivals and whatnot. My ex played with Nick Turner for a bit, and we were always bumping into various members at festivals and gigs so got to know most of them over the years.

Weirdly I saw Dave a few miles from here, selling parts on a stall at an electric bike event, and as he had no customers it seemed rude not to go and talk about synths for an hour.

I didn't have a need for a 634b Darlington Retaining Plunger, but I did give him directions back to Devon, which I think were correct.

In the spirit of the recent Challenge I'm tempted to spend my Saturday afternoon writing a song which includes the words Darlington Retaining Plunger somewhere/somehow, but reserve the right to change my mind in the next five minutes...
