KORG Gadget Production 8-bit Dubstep │ DRUMS - haQ attaQ 231

Boom! Kicking of another KORG Gadget production tricks series and this time we're breaking down a 8-bit Dubstep track. This one even has my own vocals in it. In this first part we'll be focusing on the drums generated by a London gadget and a Recife gadget.

As usual, fascinating stuff. Perhaps I can apply it to my pioneering work on 'Bungalow Beat' the only sound with Avenue Cred.' ;)

Lots of numbers for a numeric dyslexic like me to remember, though. So I'll have to play by ear.

Yeah, I started reading out frequencies 2 years back after a lot of requests. But the Numbers arent important. Best way to do this stuff is, as you say use the ears!

Good stuff so far mate. I always love your vids, but I'm especially looking forward to your next one regarding bass sound design. (One of my favourite things is synth sound design.) Cheers. :)

I'll move the bass design post up on my to-do list. I love synth sound design a lot too.

It seems to me the best way to get dubstep bass is to resample it into Bilbao or Abu Dhabi. Would love to see your approach to it!
