100 press challenge.....

It's time to check out those generative apps, arps, randomizers... and those apps with preloaded content and patterns.....and of course presets...

Make something with the least amount of interaction that you can...Use as many or as few apps as you like....

After opening your app(s) of choice and creating blank projects (project must be blank....no setting up tracks and instruments, closing the app and then opening it and saying ok no screen press so far).
You then have a maximum of 100 screen presses to make some tracks/loops.....this includes all interaction with the apps including settings, menu's, play/rec buttons, notes, faders, knobs etc....
Keep trying this part until you get something you are happy with.....when submitting please state how may attempts before you got something workable from the 100 presses...

Once you have your loops ready within your apps this is where the screen press limit ends...you can now export them to whatever app(s) you like, or indeed use them in place, and make an arrangement or do a performance with them......

Upload to dropbox or Soundcloud....and tell us what you used and how many screen presses it took to make the loops, how many attempts at the 100 before you got something useable,.and any relevent details of the arrangement or performance that will have had any significant effect on the sound

The Small Print
All entrants should enjoy doing the challenge....I have not up to now not put loads of caveats and rules on the challenges...but just to avoid questions and confusion

You can use any content already in your apps...If you do use your own content loaded into your apps then please state this in your submission, so that folks don't get a false sense of what the app(s) does/includes itself......
Use of IAP content is allowed (but should also be stated along with the submission)

External instruments are not allowed for this challenge (Feel free to submit anyway)...I could have made you count any button presses or string plucking towards the 100, and was in fact going to, until I realised you could use your voice with only press to record....counting syllables was the closest i came before thinking that it was ridiculous trying....the challenge is about generative apps and apps with included content/presets/patterns.....

During the Arrangement/performance....Static mix only (Levels/Panning etc...) (Unless pre baked into your loops within the 100 press limit) and no additional FX allowed at this point, this is to avoid too much post processing detracting from the original spirit of this challenge.
To even out clip launching vs Timeline.....in timeline apps, cutting of loops is fine (to compensate for clip launching having the ability to do this during a performance)
EDIT: - I have changed my mind on the above two......do whatever you want...but a 15 min time limit....and please state any 'heavy' post processing with your submission. e.g. It took me a mere 2 presses to get that drum loop....and then another 50 getting just the right settings in turnado while I was mixing :)
