Does anyone else have crackles and too many cells in garageband?

Hello, I am working with garageband, and i noticed that the cpu consumption is working erraticaly. When i use the live cells option, and i record, if i use AUV3 instruments, it will crackle and tell me that there are too many live cells, even when there are only two or three..
The wierd thing is that when i only started using garage band i think i had an option to change the latency but now i cant even see it.

Does anyone else have those problems? I have an Air 2 btw.....
