Broadcasting midi to other devices
Hi all,
I'd like to be able to use a foot midi controller to send midi to my iPad that then lights up pads or other midi controllers, such as a novation mini launchpad.
My aim to to use the lit pads as a way of communiation which chords to play next to my musicians. So if they see the first pad lit up, they know the next chord is the 1st in the scale, if they see the 4th pad light up, they'll know it's the 4th chord.
I was also consideration whether there's a way of maybe sending some text or colours to their phones from my iPad when I hit various keys on my mind controller, maybe using osc or something like that. Bear in mind that there would be a mix of android and iPhones.
If not, is there any app that allows me to send some info, text or signal to others on a mini screen or phone?
