Vatanator SX update

I'm posting because I'm curious about this one, as opposed to the iPad version. Store blurb mentions advanced midi features and AB3 compatibility...Multi-midi out?

anyone have the iPhone version?

or know the differences with the iPad version (update pending and there was talk about AUx, which SX isn't)

  • I don't know the answer to all of your questions, but I DO know that it will be getting AU support.

    Thanks for checking in-

Probably will wait for the AUx version...

What prompted the question was the email I got from Audiobus about AB3 compatibility for this iPhone version - ahead of changes in the iPad one, and pre AUx - that suggested something happened with midi in this version related to AB3.

Always looking for a multiple midi out app to use with AB3, especially for the phone...

I purchased SX by mistake (don't really use iPhone for music) so I have both. Have no experience using SX and only basic in iPad version. This is the best I can do now.
You see from the format SX, #2+3
    Neither AU at the moment.

    Thanks for this.

  • Looking good. Are any of the sample parameters midi-learnable? Specifically wondering about pad volume, tune and decay.

  • @idexis I thought those were global fx (top left). I mean, or think I do—it's been a bit since I used the app— the stuff in the window on the top right.

I was too quick to answer, I took it down. I need to check this better to give you correct answer. I was simply not using my brain, it's 4am where I am, and unfortunately I need it all to be able to keep up conversations :D

  • No sweat. I appreciate the reply anyway. Enjoy some rest!
