Any recommendations for launching playback tracks?
Hey, so the leader of one of my bands just fired our drummer and wants me to launch playback tracks now.
The tracks are mp3 format in 320k, just one track per song running from start to finish.
In total there will be about 40-50 tracks in different tempos, measures and keys.
The first thing I tried was Anytune Pro, using my BlueBoard for pressing play, stop, next and previous track.
It works quite well like that but I wonder if there's anything else I should try instead. I also use ForScore for sheet music of all those songs, so it would be convenient to have some kind of integration between the sheet music and the playback.
I think there was some expensive sheet music app that had this kind of integration going on but I forgot which one.
And I do like ForScore... Any thoughts?

Tabular mobile will let you score using tab and percussion notation, and will also playback via midi.....not been updated sine 2015 though.
Thanks. My sheets are PDF and the audio is mp3s, so that's not all that useful... I think I'll probably use the iPhone for playback and the iPad for the sheet music. Would be cool to have the PDFs and the audio linked, though.
I think that Anytune is the only app which you need. Sure you could try something else (e.g. iKlip Stage as setlist manager) but Anytune light years better than any other similar app.
The leader of the band fired the drummer, let him take on the effort and responsibility.
Yeah, it's pretty good. One thing that bothers me is when one track is done it autoplays the next one so I have to remember to stop it before it starts the next one.
EDIT: I found the setting to deactivate playing next track automatically.
I found this app called SongBook+ that combines both sheet music and music players with a lot of MIDI bells and whistles. It's free to try but 50€ to unlock the full version. It seems to be more geared towards single entertainers with keyboards but it could be a good solution for my requirements.

Has anyone here tried it? Recommended or not?
