BM3 and external synths - not working

Not even gonna try external apps for a minute.

Gonna learn this bitch inside and out with all internals and then invite the friends and family over while I get the band back together.

No, sample load not required. Yes, MIDI is pretty solid now.

You still need to load the sample to activate the pad for Midi...but it works fine after that.

I have my Circuit sequencing other external synths and AU synths just fine.

No, sample load not required. Yes, MIDI is pretty solid now.

Are you sure about that. For the life of me I can't seem to connect to Midi with n a Pad unless a sample is loaded into the Pad.

Yep, works fine for me! Just tried it...

So I think their is some miscommunication here.

For me, say midi out on Pad 1, on bank A, works fine without any sample loaded. Only if you sequence it via a pattern.

When you start trying to use the BM3 to record sequences in, it doesn't work unless you have a sample loaded. Seems until a sample or AU, IAA is loaded, most of that stuff does not function including scales chords, etc. Also seems that the chords, even with a sample loaded, does transmit out the external midi gear.

@mathieugarcia There should be a use as external midi option attached to pads so that we do not have to load a blank sample in to use the other functions.
