I bought Quantiloop, in the hope it was a looper I could finally work properly. But it still seems complicated to do what I wanted; record in from app instruments.
There's also the issue of timing. I can never get that right. Wish I was half as good as Gaia Tree.
Did you tried other loopers? iOS is plenty...
@Dubbylabby legend! Thanks bud
Check QL out after the next update. Stephan the dev is making routing USA and AU apps into QL super easy , no aum or ab required. Also, what midi controller are you using? I can play synth on glass and make beats on glass but looping live needs buttons and knobs
@Gaia.Tree that's really dope man! I love the visuals behind you too. And the didg is awesome... It reminds me of the late great Dr Didg (R.I.P.) Definitely an influence of mine...
I also just purchased quantiloop based on your recommendation on a previous post. I like it... but I am looking forward to the update to really use it for what I want. Keep up the good jams...
To record from iOS instruments you will have to route them through something like Audiobus or AUM (please see the manual online at Quantiloop.com/support for an example. Also the Tutorial video touches on this briefly.
And as GAIA tree stated the next version will make things really easy.
Re: Timing. I can't recommend JustinGuitar's instruction video enough. You can find it on youtube and although he uses another looper and is focused on guitar it is a very good intro.
(The most common beginners mistake is to stop recording on the last beat instead of on the first downbeat)
Regards
Cool!! Keep em coming
Thanks for the advice. Looking forward to next version, 'cause I need all the easiness I can get.
Will do.
