If I needed cash to pay the rent I would probably put any hobbies (like an iOS music site) on hiatus and sort out my things. I think that would make things a bit less stressful and all eh?
I think the point is that Ryan is between a rock and a hard place, and he wants to leverage the site he has put so much effort into, in order to make some money. It's not presented as an "either-or" scenario; he is trying to use iOSMARS to help himself out of a jam.
I wish Ryan the best of luck, and it's too bad that I am broke as well, or I would donate.
