    Honestly, why exactly?

Is Ruismaker such better sound wise, or what?

Just imagine the funky natural live drummer feel of Funk Drummer filtered through an electronic perspective... It's fantastic IMO...

Does the sound mode in allow you to use your new Bop Pad with FD?

Unfair, but I can read your comments only in Gavin Belson's voice now.

Well...I have been sending MIDI from Future Drummer to Circuit and getting some nice patterns in there.....which has been working really well....
I haven't done it yet as I am at work, but when i get home I will be putting the afro and flares back on and sending some MIDI from Funk Drummer to my Circuit instead, to get those drums a bit.....well....funkier :)

I am actually in the process of taking some of my better (to me) drunken jams that I've been doing and posting over the last few months, learning them and putting them into Cubasis for some more refined arrangement and production....this has come at just the right time as some of those jams were originally done using funk drummer :)

  • Do the patterns in this actually use the full kit? In Rock Drummer, maybe two of the hundreds of patterns actually used the toms. The rest were just kick, snare, hihat patterns.

    Hahaha.
    I'll miss Erlich.

  • So is it possible to play a generative groove and then use the sound module MIDI in to play "over the top" of the pattern?

I fear he'll end up like Adam Sandler… who has made millions betting on Netflix, so who can knock him?

    I fear he has a short half-life.

No way, Andy... Future can make incredible grooves and atmospheres impossible to recreate with anything else. I'll try to upload a video tomorrow

I love both Future and Funk drummer...but of the two, Funk was my first love :)
I'll not stop using Future, just that Funk will probably be my usual port of call....and Future will get used less.

I look forward to the video, see what YOU can do with it :)

btw Did MIDI Sync go missing ? Or did I just forget how to use it ?

Thanks for making such great apps with which I can make great music :)

  • so did we get sample import yet in this drum app?

  • Hell yes. As much as I love future drummer I love funk drummer a lot more. Definitely gonna use this more than future now :D need those funky drum grooves!

  • My endeavours to use Funk drummer to record into Circuit have not been too successful....it is not Funk Drummers fault though.....circuit is up to 16 steps per bar with swing and is not able toeasily record the more interesting grooves from Funk Drummer that use different time signatures as is. Perhaps with some fiddling I could get the right pattern length to use. It still produces interesting results, but not necessarily funky :)
Shame.....here's hoping that circuit gets an update to its sequencer in line with that on the new Circuit Mono Station which has triplets and clock multiplier/divide....

So it's back to Future Drummer for recording into Circuit...and creating audio from Funk Drummer for playback in blocs/Launchpad for when i do want that groove.

I'm looking to use FD as a sound module / midi in.
I'm wondering, when triggering the sounds are the round robin samples used in this mode as well? There are to my understanding only two velocity layers for each hit, so utilizing the round robins would bring some dynamics.
