Just bought this for my iPad (iOS 11). Mic recordings are blank...any clues. Mic works fine with other apps...
Did you check in settings if Samplr has permission to use the microphone?
how many of you have requested on the Samplr FB page that the dev give a little summary about where the update of the app stands and what new features to expect?

@kobamoto Are you saying an update is coming? That would be great. The age is the only thing keeping me from finally getting this.
the dev said there would be an update but it's been so long people need to remind him.
In the long journey across the desert one never knows if the Cabana serving fruity drinks and sumptuous meals is an oasis or a mirage. @kobamoto will report back, I hope. I fear mirage these days...
There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest. (Wiesel)
Samplr is very close to perfection. One of the few apps that has universal praise, nothing quite like it on the market. Never crashes or glitches and can turn the most boring raw materials into something entirely different!
The age thing can be a factor regarding vintage synths etc which will eventually need expensive repairs. I wouldn't worry about it in this case..
my first ios love
I wish there would be a way to loop a "one cycle waveform" in the piano sampler, I would use it even more
Yup.
Yes, albeit it's like honey. After getting stuck in it for a while I ended up gasping for air.
“Breadline (Anzart-in-Christchurch, New Zealand, 1981) was an extensive ritual which involved making positive and negative impressions of the artist’s body in bread dough. A feast of bread, milk and honey was shared after the bodymoulding exercise and the audience watched as the artist bathed.” (From Body and Self: Performance Art in Australia 1969-1992 by Anne Marsh)
Thanks for your input. Samplr does seem to fall into that small group of apps that seem like they have been around forever, but for some reason are still considered to be high on the list of Best Apps. Over the past few months I bought ThumbJam, Bebot, DM1, and most recently Animoog, which to me are also in this group of classics that still beat most others. I have had so much fun messing with these apps, so Samplr is next on that list for me.
I wonder if @ouvintes figured out the mic problem. Anyone else experience that particular problem?
age I don't mind, but the lack of panning is driving me nuts, and making it so that rather than the most serious production that I could do on it , I'm more or less only using it for very sparse, or very washed out, or on already processed and finalized tunes (cause the mix is already in place)... I would love to use it for more detailed production.... Marcos already told me he'd get to the panning but it's been ages since then, before even the last update.
