Thanks @eross. I will hold off on this update... unless it has already automatically done it!
I pretty sick of all the glitches Ravenscroft275 has been producing since release...
Yeah, the piano sounds amazing for the ”small” footprint (only 1GB), but, I’ve have enough today and delete it for ever...
As an replacement I bought the 6GB baby grand in Colossus by Crudebyte... Sound very good, but on the downside is very long loading time...
Perhaps the 14GB full grand sounds better, but for now I’m superhappy with the baby grand into Nanotudio 2...
The Colossus 6GB baby grand is incredible stable in both the app itself and the sound!
Put a lot of intense midifiles with classical pieces from Liszt and Mozart, and Nanostudio 2 together with Colossus baby grand runs smooth as hell!
Ravenscroft275 sounds amazing, especially if you count in just 1GB samples, but, I suspect that UVI have some kind of realtime compress/decompress that is the reason of good sound, but in the same time produces glitches...
I will stay with Crudebytes Colossus pianos from now on, even though I miss RC275 sound and fast loading...
@ErrkaPetti , it is interesting some users have issues and others not. Sorry you are one of the unlucky ones, especially as you really like the sound. The RC is a top VST and I am guessing it has none of the problems present on iOS.
Yeah, but, it’s the same problem on both my better iPads (one 12.9” 2017 Pro and the other Pro 10.5” - both 256GB and Celluar)...
The problem have been there since release...
@ErrkaPetti , as I said, I have no such problems. I have no idea why and do not doubt your experience.
Out of curiosity, @ErrkaPetti, what was your Buffer Latency set to in Nanostudio 2?
I have tried every setting out there...
Polyphony into the app itself to diff buffer settings in every DAW plus AUM and Audiobus 3...
But, in the same time, a 6GB piano from Crudebyte is running flawless in every occasion and in every host...?
It must be something in the technology in the RC275-app that is the problem...
This glitches has been talked about since release...
It's unfortunate you are getting the problem on both ipads yet others here such as myself and @LinearLineman seem to be able to use it without issue. While it could be RC275 it could still be an iOS version issue, perhaps another app running is conflicting with it or perhaps you have a feature on in iOS that is conflicting with RC275. I recall when even having multitouch gestures turned on would cause issues so I think I switched mine off. It could also be a background refresh by some other app or something else but whatever the reason Colossus seems to be working for you and so you don't need to troubleshoot RC275 anymore.
