A moment of silence for a fallen brother
H
Has been around my neck every day for over a year. My beloved klipsch. There at a moment's notice when i was in line somewhere or waiting for kids to quickly power up gadget. Had it hanging today and stepped on the chord and yanked it. Trying to put it together.

That sucks mate. Headphone cords being yanked is the biggest pet peeve of mine as it jerks my neck, ruins the headphones, ruins the jack the headphones were plugged into, etc. Hope you can fix yours.
Well that is one advantage with Bluetooth, I guess.
I will never ever buy a headphones or ear buds that doesent allow me to change the cord, at least any that are worth something
yes, but I am sick to death of ponying up £30 for my Sennheisers every few months because of some mishap or other ! :-(
Buy something that costs like 150$ and then get a 15$ cord once every year and youll save some money in long term and get 100 times better earbuds
I just have. The 580s are now going back to normal music duties and I have bought some AKG 240 IIs for production.
It is the cables for the 580s that cost £30! Not the headphones.
Which earbuds have changeable cords?
Quite many shures, ultimate ears(more of them had before logitech bought the company) and quite a few others. I have ultimate ears super.fi 5(or something like that), which are super nice, especially for the price. But sadly are discontinued and last time i checked used prices were higher than what they costed new(around150€). I havent bothered to get a new cord for a while, because i didnt have money before i got used to ease of use of the earbuds that came with iphone. Cord the the ue's is thick and stiff, and earpods have a mic/remote on it. I did find some chinese companies making cords for the ue's with mic/remote, but ordering from asia is quite an hassle and i never remember it when i have money xD
It's hilarious the momentary sense of panic when I realize I left the house without my earbuds. It's like that dream where you wake up and have on no pants.
Monoprice 8323 are great 15 dollar headphones with a removable cord FYI
I think i can fix these. Next ones will be the removable cable ones.
Yup. That moment of realization that you have 20 minutes of waiting and you forgot your earbuds sucks hard.
