Update: Groovebox Auto Launch

edited July 2017 in General App Discussion

On the lock screen and the app "drawer" selection screen there are now Groovebox auto launch icons & banners. See below for the app screen banner (the one on the lock screen is just the logo at the left bottom corner):

I've gone through the apps internal settings and the secondary settings inside the Settings app where notifications are controlled etc. and nothing is available to turn it off.

Some may find this feature cool but I don't use Groovebox daily or enough to want it. Furthermore when I do use Groovebox it's just as quick to hit it's icon. This to me is a bit of a slippery slope as well because if app devs automatically decide that this control, this banner, that button, etc. should be on screen regardless of the users choice who knows what will pop up.

I like Groovebox and don't want to send it to the app cloud on deck circle (i.e. Off My iPad) First off, anyone else see this or did I break something (hey, could be), and second what is your take if you do have it as well.

@AmpifyxNovation I ask you to put an on/off on this feature or please if you have one already can you show me? Thanks...

Update:

Apparently this auto launch facility is on the iOS side as an Auria notice popped up on the app selection screen today. The Auria logo on the lock screen is on the bottom left corner as well. Sorry to @AmpifyxNovation , it was not on your end obviously, as others said Facebook auto launches pop up too. I apologize for indicting you! Lol...

Whoa...So I write a novella and go back & check it now it's gone! Must only come up for a short period of time...

I have Facebook on my iPad but rarely look at it, and not just on my iPad, anywhere...not a big Facebook guy. But didn't know they did that...
