What is your favorite synth app?

  • My favorite synth app is a tie between Alchemy and iMini. Sunrizer is in third place, followed by Nave in fourth. I haven't decided what order to place my other synths yet. :-)

For those wanting an M3000 Tron with AudioBus and CoreMIDI, it's in the App Store for review right now (11th August 2013, been awaiting review 2 days, should be here real soon if Apple don't raise any objections). There are some other great additional new features, and as a 'thank you' for our customers being so patient - because let's face it, it's been a while - there are 3 new voices so now 16 in total, unlooped playback as an option, 'very short' loops as an option to keep memory footprint low in a heavy AudioBus environment - and they still sound awesome, I have to say - in total just shy of 200MBytes of samples taken straight from Streetly's production tapes for the M4000 machine. And it's all for free if you're an existing customer, none of this 'pay for upgrade' nonsense.

So we are very much looking forward to some of you getting Mellotronic on AudioBus!

  • Great news M3000! :)
Thanks for the unlooped playback option and the new tapes!

  • The MKII Vibes are frickin' IMMENSE ...

  • Definitely TC-11 and Sunrizer. Alchemy is great as well. I need more synths though. I'm liking the look of Grain Science, as I do like to mess with sounds a lot. That's why I enjoy Samplewiz so much. But there are so many to choose from! Nave is looking tempting.
