  • I use AUM and Audiobus quite a bit but things get 'done' in Auria Pro.

  • wow...thats a loaded question for me, I use a LOT of apps, Cubasis, Auria Pro, Gadget, Garageband, Blocs Wave and a ton IOS synths, guitar amp sims, and been going hard in BM3 since it came out, when IMaschine 2 came out, I went in for a short period but found it limiting by not being able to use a midi keyboard for keyboard stuff, but I bought almost all the expansion packs, and ended up not really using them, but now I'm exporting all the expansions into BM3 and its been a God send, especially given BM3 doesnt come with much sound wise, and I never invested time making kits in BM2.
I didnt get into BeatHawk as much as I thought I would, I liked the song arranger a lot, but I thought it could have had a built in synth or au support where we could use synths inside of it. Then when BM3 came with that feature BeatHawk got kicked to the curb, but Ive been using BeatHawk as an au inside of BM3 for the piano expansion.

On Gadget and Blocs wave, I liked Gadget as soon as it came out and took right to it, but up until that point was not an Ableton user, just didnt get it, Gadget completely opened me up to Ableton and got me on board with it when I exported projects as Ableton projects.
Blocs wave....completely under estimated it, was just not satisfied using the included loops or IAP's and calling songs mine, lol. But when I started recording and importing my own content into it , I had a new found love for it. Then I started exporting tracks from Gadget into Blocs wave, and exporting from Blocs waves into Gadgets audio gadget, and into Garageband and Cubasis and now into BM3. or as Ableton projects.

  • Modstep+Aum+AUx.

  • Nanostudio. Loopy->Auria well behind that.

  • Cubasis, Blocs, BM3 comin' in fast.

  • Gadget by far for me. I see a lot of people love blocs wave I've found it pretty useless for my needs.

  • Samplr in every way.

Absolutely no contest, BeatMaker 2. If INTUA adds more than the current 8 bank limitation or even better reintroduces the ability to add Instruments on the main timeline in BM3 things may change.

  • Having done at least a bit of the math, it'd actually have to be Module.

  • Auria Pro, followed by a distant second place Garageband.

Auria, Garageband (only for composing, never track using it anymore), DrumPerfect Pro, iMS-20, iPolisix, Model 15, Hokusai and AudioShare - that about sums up my workflow when building a song. To finish them, always Auria: mixing in Garageband is possible but not desirable, and mastering is an absolute no-go.
