Wondering what a tanpura would sound like through that patch....
@Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr
Try and post the result. What I've found messing with this is you can easily change any of the fx or initial sounds and get nice textures. I'm going to run something more percussive through next. Prob Strng or Mersenne. I picked Droneo because it offers differing timbers that "can" be pretty flat without some fx and it also offered an automated way of moving frequencies (notes) around.
@audiblevideo
Can you explain why you need to go through audiobus first and not just use AUM?
Didn't/don't have to. I just started in Audiobus as one stack of FX. But I wanted more control so I dumped most of the FX and moved them to AUM. It could all be done in AUM.
AUM
Any synth
Press hold
Add apefilter
Aufx space
Dubfilter
Have NodeBeat control apefilter and see what happens:)
Easy...
Go in AUM
Choose a synth
Apefilter and others as fx
LAUNCH NODEBEAT OUTSIDE OF AUM
make sure NodeBeat has its midi right and built in synth OFF in settings
Launch apefilter and go in settings to midi then choose NodeBeat
What NodeBeat will do IS PLAY APEFILTER!!!!
The results with delays and reverbs added are astonishing

Basically u will have NodeBeat creating generative filter movements @tja
Nice!
@Love3quency Is this a typical result? Post one of yours so I can compare. I subbed AUFXDub for the AudioDamage AU.
Good stuff in this thread so far. Thx
@tja @audiblevideo I'll post a demo tommorow
I did initially hold a note, then I added troublemaker and mood and it went wild
Held a note - well a couple - the rest is from FX
In the last one I moved through the SyndtSphere presets a bit at the end to see what timbral changes would happen.
This one playing with resonance and picking out frequencies
My Mrs. told me that i sound really scary when i puke so she recommend to record it. Almost like a spinosaurus trapped in fire.
I am looking for something to generate some good ambient backgrounds/pads. Droneo (plus your tweaks) looks like it might be the answer. Thanks for that
I looked at WorshipTutorial pads which are perfect but 30 usd for all major and minor keys. I figured there must be some way of generating something similar myself with all of the synths/apps etc that I have. Straightforward Pad patches don't really work as they are generally too static or too "in your face". It needs to sit nicely in the background and have some kind of movement/evolution.
Do it

Awesome thread, got my mind reaching for ideas, thx!
Now if aum just has a simple sequencer
I know this is an old thread but I am trying to get nodebeat to work with apefilter, I have followed the setup diagram and settings from earlier in the thread but I do not know if their is anything else I need to do?
What preset did you use in apefilter?
Also do I need to do anything under the control section in apefilter?
I have tried assigning midi nodefilter to cut off and it then asks me for the values to put in (0 to 127 and which midi channel, I have tried various values and chose midi channel 1, cannot see any cutoff values change or hear any difference).
Any ideas?
Thanks
