Is anyone beta-testing iOS11 and can confirm which music apps work - even know - before the official launch and update?
I do remember reading that Nanostudio mk1 will stop working, for example. Anything else that we know?

there's a way to check on your device which of your apps are not ready for 11:

Settings/General/About/Applications there's a list of apps for which "no updates are available" and won't (yet) work with 11

    I've got a pile

Yep. Likely I won't be updating to 11, there's a few things here I'm not giving up on

@zhoe Cubase IC - Just updated - should be OK. At least not on the dodo list.

This is not the case at my end. I can still see Cubase iC on the 'no updates available' list.

  • I definitely won't be updating to iOS11 on day one, that's for sure. I am also certain it will slow some things down. That has been the nature of the new iOS. I remember having iPad2 working great until some later iOS crippled it big time. I'm on iPad Pro 9.7 so I guess I'll be fine for the next two years, but not taking any chances until it's been confirmed that my most important apps are running fine.

Very odd indeed. Just updated a couple of weeks ago.

That is different. You mentioned Cubase iC in your previous post. There are two different apps, iC and iC pro. I have them both. Pro is ok, but iC is still not updated. Not that I miss it much, tbh....

Sure, no worries. For a second, I wasn't sure myself what am I looking at ;) As long as iC pro works, I don't mind.

  • Do anyone know if Borderlands Granular is compatible?

Yes it is. it opens and runs fine, but honestly I have not done an intense session with it yet, so there may be some bugs that I have not encountered. But then again maybe there are no bugs. Anyway, it is working for me on iOS 11.1 iPad Air 2.

    Yup working here on 11.1.1

  • Basically im having a final panic on whether to upgrade my ipad pro 9.7, so thats a relief, (as with iPulsaret)

  • Wish I didn't go 11

  • And GarageBand, of course.

You’d like to think that the company creating the iOS is keeping track of how its own apps will work with any updates.

  • Are there any biggies that havent crossed over? Im mostly bram bos, korg, moog, apesoft, olympia noise co in my set ups with the odd thing like borderlands and earhoof sticking out
