i messaged them via fb and twitter but no response for days. did they ever get back to you? i wonder if my money was well invested...

They're really busy making Groovebox the ultimate creation tool!
They didn't get back to me either. As long as groovebox keeps improving I'm ok with that. Though I'm getting kind of impatient waiting for midi in because they mentioned somewhere that it was getting pretty close and that was like several weeks ago.
I sent a Groovebox request via their website email contact and got a reply within a couple days.
Things can get busy, but usually you will get a response.

Firstly, apologies for any delays. You are correct, August tends to see many of us take some time off, however this shouldn't stop us from answering important questions from you guys.
We'll be honest, we were going to release a big update about now, but as these things go, we (well actually someone on this forum!) found a belter of a bug. Without you guys, we'd have released a less than 100% quality release, so firstly thank you the person who found it. When we delay a release, its for good reason.
Personally, we're gutted. We wanted to get this to you, as we're excited about it.

Please work on Acoustic guitars, Bass, modules and packs???? Please?
So far I've been getting into Groovebox's current style but would love more Acoustic sounding stuff if possible. Saving iTunes cash to support.
Also, thanks for the free Acoustic drums Kit! Sounds incredible and it's my mostly used kit although I bought all the packs.

Ahhh man, you're so right! That would be awesome! Even though I play my guitar into a looper that is midi synced with my iPads and Launchpad Pros...this kind of stuff would be awesome for adding layers upon what I'm already doing with my guitar. And the fact that you can select the key and scale on the fly is fantastic! Especially with Launchpad Pro scale mode...
When I open the modules and see the empty space, it reminds me that they are working hard to bring some really cool things to fill up that screen. Maybe an arpeggiator? Guitar or Chords modules? I just mentioned in another post how cool it would be to have sequencing and Groovebox integration with my Launchpad Pros. Being able to use physical buttons to turn groovebox parts on and off while the app is in the background and Blocs (or whatever) in the foreground with vocal sampling/slicing etc, while switching back to scale mode and shredding a hammered dulcimer or hang drum midi channel! Man! It makes me very excited!
And on this posts title... @AmpifyxNovation I don't care if you don't respond because I know you're working hard to make these things happen. I love everything you guys and gals have ever done. Ive been a constant supporter! Cheers to the future! Keep up the good work...
