I'd be willing to buy some Retronyms stuff if they would fix iMini.
.
Yes, but what's easier? Going to AB or spend time and money creating add-ons, with not the variety or quality (most of then) that are right now out there?
This reminds me when SEGA showed the white flag and started creating software instead of hardware.
.
I know tabletop gets a lot of bashing on here, but since the last update and running it on ipad mini retina, I have hardly had a crash.

It has great routing options, sidechain, auto tuning. Using the IAA recorder I can add nice pianos from Sampletank.
My new album is entirely in Tabletop. I live mix my tracks that are essentialy a long loop, using filters and live play over. Like this
It has totally changed my workflow.
Well, I have to say that after a tinkle with the new tabletop I am quite impressed. This thing has it all right now: 2 killer bass/lead synths (imini and isem) well, they both will do pads, magellan (not to be underestimated), 2 mpc style samplers (gridlock and impc), audio recorder and quite a few other 'gadgets' (no pun intended) in the effect section.
I'm not overly optimistic due to previous experiences but I just had tabletop running with imini within the app and isem and magellan via iaa and a discreet audio track with no noticeable hiccups.
Do they load up when you restart all ready to go ?
I have always been a lover of TableTop concept and it's routing options. Since the last update it seems to be much more stable.
I would like to see them update with IAA Fx, all the features that users want in other DAW TableTop has it, SideChain, etc.
Guys don't be fooled TableTop has a large database with lots of users and yes it's a strategy for people to buy their IAP , but most of their users already got their IAP.
Yes the IAA effects option would be great I hope they implement it.

Listen, in my experience the IAA will work for one track, but if you add more the apps will forget the settings. The way I do it now is with the IAA recorder in tabletop. If I want some piano, open the recorder module. Open Sampletank from it and play the part. Then in tabletop add fx etc. that way always the same when you go back. Also saves screen estate as two IAA recorder per block. On my retina mini I want more space now, never go above 50% CPU ....
@KlaatuNinja If I understood it right you are basically freezing those tracks in audio form. I like to leave things open so I can tweak them until the last moment. Main reason is probably that I hardly ever finish a composition these days![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
@DaveMagoo I'm not 100% sure but from what I understand if you close isem with a particular preset tt will open it in that state and tweaks you've automated work as intended. But no, it does not save states like AB2 is going to (hopefully).

I always had trouble as @KlaatuNinja pointed out. Eg: when I opened up my previous projects to find none of the IAA instruments would load or just one.
I just found it really unstable and it put me off, and it's still not fixed.
If there was an update that fixed this issue and an added IAA FX unit I will be re downloading for sure![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
This may be the case, I only downloaded it again yesterday and didn't get a chance to play much. From my angle the sound of imini and isem is so good that I find no need to be having many synths in a composition but that's also question of my simplistic style. I normally just program a beat, trigger a nice arp then just drool. I find it amazing as it is. I used to have 2 instances of imini in tt time ago and it would crash mercilessly all the time. Now it actually is very enjoyable but yes you're right I wouldn't use it as a fully fledged daw bm2 probably still beats it at that.
Is Tabletop an app?
I don't find it in the App Store (again with the ghost apps)... Misspelled? Not currently available? My iPhone is stupid? :-\
It's for the iPad.
And I usually get to a page that AT LEAST tells me that there IS an app - just not one for the iPhone. Still don't understand...
