iOS 11 beta 4 kills Audiobus and numerous other apps
Just hoping to warn folks who aren’t yet as stupid as yours truly, the latest public beta has rendered Audiobus, Auria and BeatMaker 3, and a bunch of other apps unusable. Affected apps crash immediately, most trouble shooting is hopeless, but in some cases reinstalling the app will fix the problem temporarily. Cubasis and AUM seem fine. This also happens in an earlier beta, but Beta 3 fixed it. Unfortunately it has come around again.

ive found beta 3 quite stable actually, now i feel ill stick with it until beta 5 or until i hear everyting is fixed again
apps were broken before. fact that Apple broke them more is strangely reassuring
Same here. Here's hoping the breaks were due to them trying to fix the latency and multi AU instance issues.
Doubt it. Apple is always more interested in adding stupid bells and whistles that break all important functions we rely on. Or its just to stop people from jailbreaking? They seem more preoccupied with stopping jailbreaking than actually making their system more stable
All I know is it took my two most used apps away and going back to ios 10 hurts my soul. why in the hell cant i downgrade betas F ios 10 and all it stands for lol
Our of curiosity, which broken apps have you tried reinstalling and, of those, which worked following the reinstallation?
Auria Pro worked again when I reinstalled it, but it was a massive pain in the backyard and it stopped working again after a couple launches. Like Hansson, I also found Beta 3 to be pretty stable, so if you’re running that I would just skip this latest upgrade.
This is so stupid sometimes.
My PC never caused me issues like this.

How often did you upgrade to beta OS versions on your PC??
As a windows experience program tester hundreds of times. Only a few updates get pushed the the public branch. But I got sick of it and reverted to windows 7 at the time.
