Best ios chiptune trackers
I wasn't able to find a newer post on the subject so asking it again. I'm still really new to music as well. I've made one nice song on famitracker.
I just bought an iPad pro 12.9 for work purposes mainly. Ultra portable work station. 3d sculpting and modeling to music.
GarageBand seems like a great choice for most stuff but I believe I would need something better when it comes to old hardware sounds. Also is there a better choice that GarageBand that would still be inviting and cheap?
I've researched quite a bit and the programs that seem to stand out to me are Nanoloop, SidTracker 64 and vivid tracker.
Nanoloop and SidTracker seem like upgraded ui trackers while vividtracker maintains it's original tracker ui style which is a little rough to navigate but I've used famitracker and it was able to make some nice beats.
Which is the best out of the three or is there something better? Apps like sidpad and squaresynth didn't seem like they would be good for creating full length songs.

I vote for Sunvox, arguably the most powerful app on iPad.
Is sunvox still able to get back to the basics of chiptunes? Everything I looked up seemed like they had moved away from chiptunes all together but doing so in a tracker.
Sunvox seems more like something to put against GarageBand honestly and from what I've read is it's actually better than GarageBand. Correct? So what's best for my beeps and bloops?
I think Korg Gadget with the Kingston and Kamata gadgets might be just what you're looking for. Both would give you the chiptune sounds you need, then it's just a matter of learning how to develop a full song in Gadget.
Okay found some chiptunes in sunvox. So it can do everything music. Not too shabby.
I'm not too knowledgeable about classic Chiptunes but bleeps and bloops are easy to come by. The Chiptune style synths in Gadgets are ace and I really like Gadgets workflow the only real downside to me is price once you start getting the upgrades it adds up quick. Caustic is another to look at it has an excellent modular synth as well as an mathematic expression based synth which is fairly uncommon and can get pretty wild.
