Epic bummer. One of my heroes. What a genius. Vegan before it was cool (or even a word anyone knew). Revolutionary before people knew to pay attention. Master of the subversive/hidden joke/truth within the joke. He was much more the Carlin prototype than Lenny Bruce.

When I heard the news this morning, I thought of constantly hearing in the past " Gregory could have been Bill Cosby, but..."
With the way things have turned out, Gregory obviously made the
right choice. Like the Greek said, "Count no man happy until the hour of his death"
