Looperverse MIDI track-select question

I have Looperverse set up with a MIDI pedal, a guitar, and ToneStack, and it’s awesome. Really great.

My question is this: what do the Track Select and Next/Previous Track functions do in MIDI? I tried assigning them, and Track Select moves the selection to the next track, until it reaches the last track, and then it stops there, stuck.

Next/Previous Track, on the other hand, seems to do nothing. I though it may change the direction of Track Select, but it doesn’t. What am I missing?

  • I haven't used it with a pedal but great question and I'd like to know.

Using it with a pedal is fantastic.

Hi @mistercharlie, thanks for your patience. I tested this out yesterday and experienced the same thing. Our developers are aware of this bug and we've logged it for future updates. We really appreciate your feedback! Please let us know if you come across anything else. (: -Niki

  • The other thing that would make this app much more useful for me is support for MIDI learning notes and not only CCs for remote controlling stuff. Please do consider adding this. Shouldn't be such a hard thing to add, @Retronyms

Can I suggest that one button can move up a track, and one move down? Instead of one button to switch tracks and another to change direction? You need two buttons either way, but the current method (if I understand it) seems more cumbersome.

@mistercharlie I'll be sure to mention this to our developers as well. Thanks for your creative suggestion! -Niki

@Munibeast Thank you for your suggestion. While I can't make any promises, I will make sure our developers take your request into consideration. (: -Niki
