iConnectAudio4+ as simple pre-amp and audio output?
Hi guys,
I have a vocal audition for a band tomorrow, and I have to take along my iConnectAudio4+ to act as a pre-amp for my microphone. I'm going to connect the mic to Analog Input 1, and all I want is for the sound to then go out of Output 1 (or Outputs 1 and 2) into the keyboard amp that another band member is kindly providing.
I don't want this to involve the iPad in this in any way (obviously I could go through Audiobus, etc), but I understand that I will have to use the iConnectivity app at first in order to route the audio and it doesn't recall presets.
Has anyone done this before and can point me in the right direction? The 'grid' of inputs and outputs has always seemed needlessly complicated to me!
So, I want to set up the connection using the iPad app. Audio in, audio out. Then disconnect the iPad and have my singing go from the microphone into the pre-amp and then out to the keyboard amp. That's all I want!
