    What is it?

Emulation of Moog 914 fixed filter bank.

Its little brother is in the Model 15:

  • This looks like a Mac app, but…?

As I understand it, the plan is for simultaneous multi-platform releases from here on out. Not sure how this will all fit in an AUv3 window, but then I'm not even sure what it is.

  • Great. I hope there will be MIDI control.

  • It's just for the desktop for now. Chris recently made a post asking what we wanted as a community. But this is just for sale again on desktop

Audio Damage have a couple of things in the wings that we'd like to get some user comment on.

First up is Kombinat Tri. We already have this done for desktop; it has been out for some weeks now. The design of the UI makes it fairly difficult to port to iOS, as it (like Phosphor) would require a rather time-consuming rework. So I'm basically wondering if there's some sort of intense desire for it in iOS. I have a good feel now for what you guys think you want (we get the most requests for Axon and Automaton, interestingly) but since I'm also a producer with a fairly lengthy string of releases, I also have a good idea for what you'll actually use in production, as opposed to what sounds like it might be fun. And I know that while Axon will definitely be fun and sell well, something like Kombinat Tri is far more useful.

    BUT!

We're not going to beat people over the head with it, and if there's no interest, we'll get to it when we get to it, since it is a mildly difficult project. So if you could head to the Audio Damage site and read about Kombinat Tri and listen to the audio, and let me know if this is something we should take care of sooner rather than later, it will help inform our process.

And the second thing I'd like to gauge interest for is our 914 plugin. We stopped selling this about a year ago, but due to some recent videos from Junkie XL we're getting a lot of requests to add it back to our catalog, which we're going to do on the desktop. I'm just starting this process this morning, and it is another one where I'll have to make some difficult design decisions to shoehorn it in to iOS. It is, in my opinion, one of our least useful plugins, being a clone of the Moog 914 module, which is a bank of band-pass filters that has a fairly unique sound. It is a deep production tool that is used for a specific task, and my general understanding of the iOS music-makers scene is that deep, tweaky production is not really something people, in general, concern themselves with.

Again, if there is a lot of interest, I'll do it, but it will take time away from the stuff you guys say you want, which is Axon, Automaton, Discord, that sort of thing. You don't need to ask for any of the others, as they're all slated for eventual ports. It's just these two I'm really wondering about.

  • Hmmmm

It's been over two weeks since phosphor was released and @Chris_Randall promised a universal version of it and then releases pumphouse and then likely this

It's great he is developing apps at an abnormal pace but it would be cool if he finished phosphor too lol

i think phosphor universal was scrapped. the betas actually had an implementation of it but it didn't really work well.
it might get a standalone rework. or not. not really sure.
