Similar question for any kind boffins out there...

  • I didn't have any luck downloading in Safari on my iPad, so I downloaded on desktop and added to my Dropbox. It was then easy to tap on the file in the Dropbox app on iPad and then select 'Export - Open In' and choose Nave.

  • Yeah does not seem tomwork in safari. Puffin browser you can save to dropbox and open in nave from there i think, will let tim know

    Grazie. Will try.

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • Anyone having trouble PM me your email and I will send you direct- have been told it works fine from email

    Chrome does also not work.

But maybe the content is OK and you just need to save it?
With what filename extension for Nave?

Yeah, you should be able to save it to Dropbox as a preset file on iPad, but I'm not sure what the Nave extension is for presets.

  • The file name when downloaded on desktop is 'Red_Sky_Lullaby.navebank'.

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • This may work with another file manager, it does with FileBrowser, if you copy the address of the file you wish to download, then go to FileBrowser, you can then download that file via the download from URL option, then you can open the file in the relevant app.

The best way to fix this is to simply zip the file. Many browsers just don't know what *.navebank is and just try to display the file. Once in iOS you can unzip it in Audioshare, or most browsers and file managers (then import to nave)

Edit: Or just hold the download link until the browsers contextual menu pops up, choose download. I'm using iCab, got no idea if safari can do it
